Hermione Patricia Hervey was born  January, 21 1924 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada at the Holy Cross Hospital at about 8:45 A.M.. She was christened at Saint Paul's Church, February 17, 1924 in Midnapore Alberta. She spent her young years growing up on the family farm neighboring the Sarcee Nation southwest of Calgary. As a young girl Patricia and her siblings road to the Red Deer Lake School by horseback to obtain their education. Many stories have been told at family gathering of the days in a one room, multi grade school house. Her report cards show a extreme talent in Art, Music and Dramatics, although her apparent abilities in Math and Science seemed  to be somewhat lacking.

As a young lady she moved to Calgary and later married George Ingram. She and George started their family in Sunnyside, then moved to Bankview and added to the family with two more children. Patty was a founding member of the Southern Pioneers And Descendents Association and when her daughter became a Girl Guide she became a Girl Guide Leader. Her other loves also included music, including the violin, piano organ and mandolin. She taught music for many years and even tried to teach her children. Patty loved to garden and her green thumb was the envy of the neighbourhood.

Patty passed away peacefully, May 29, 2010 (obituary) leaving behind a brother Jack, a son Bruce (Pat) Ingram, a daughter Debbie Waters, a second son Rob (Sandy) Ingram, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and is interred beside her father, mother and sister Penny.
